[Bug 881684] Re: Battery indicator not showing discharge when disconnected from AC or power statistics

Marking invalid as it is no longer occurring and I am unable to
duplicate the results after system updates over the past few days. Have
not reviewed update logs to see if this included a gnome-power-
statistics update or not.

** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
Battery indicator not showing discharge when disconnected from AC or
  power statistics

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Description:
When I disconnect the AC power from the laptop the indicator continues to show "Battery (charged)".
This problem did not seem to occur until I ran updates on the fresh install of Oneiric.

Additionally when this issue occurs gnome-power-statistics no longer
reports data and doesn't show AC/Battery/Proc on the left side.

  Attempts to fix:
  1) sudo apt-get install --reinstall gnome-power-manager
  2) reboot (no change in issue)

  Information:
  [lsb_release -rd] Ubuntu 11.10
  [uname -a] Linux 3.0.0-12-generic-pae #20-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 7 16:37:17 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
  [laptop] Asus K60IJ
  [package version] gnome-power-manager 3.2.0-0ubuntu1
