[Bug 886253] Re: Edit -> Rotate doesn't modify document
Thanks for the report. I'm unable to reproduce the result by following the steps provided. In case it's relevant, using open source radeon driver here.
Openening evince in a terminal and proceeding the steps outputs fourteen times:
(evince:17436): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_pointer: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed
After saving the rotated document and reopen terminal output is:
(evince:17499): EvinceDocument-CRITICAL **: ev_document_get_n_pages: assertion `EV_IS_DOCUMENT (document)' failed
and again fourteen times:
(evince:17499): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_pointer: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

Bug description:
I performed the following actions:
(1) Edit -> Rotate Right.
(2) Ctrl-S to save the document.
(3) Closed the document.
(4) Re-opened document with Evince.
Result:
The rotation was not saved.
Expected result:
The rotation was saved.
If actions in the Edit menu don't actually modify the document, they
should be elsewhere.
