Thank you for your bug report, could you add your lightdm.log to the bug
when getting the issue? Do you have similar issues with other softwares?
What videocard and driver do you use?

Bug description:
  The LightDM gtk greeter is generally very glitchy. When selecting
  different users, the interface sometimes freezes, so you have to re-
  load lightdm from a tty. Sometimes, the user selected is 'stuck on',
  preventing other users from being selected. Also, the power and
  accessibility buttons cannot be used if different users are selected.
  This is not a lightdm fault, as the standard ubuntu theme for Lightdm
  works fine.
