Here is the file. I've just attached this now as the issue happens each
time. (If you select different users, sometimes on selecting several
different ones, you cannot use the mouse, only the keyboard).

Bug description:
  The LightDM gtk greeter is generally very glitchy. When selecting
  different users, the interface sometimes freezes, so you have to re-
  load lightdm from a tty. Sometimes, the user selected is 'stuck on',
  preventing other users from being selected. Also, the power and
  accessibility buttons cannot be used if different users are selected.
  This is not a lightdm fault, as the standard ubuntu theme for Lightdm
  works fine.
