[Bug 882256] Re: Firefox hardcoded in default file
Would be nice if desktop-file-utils would honor the choices made with
update-alternatives - having lots of different places for the same
configuration sucks.

Title:
Firefox hardcoded in default file
Status in “desktop-file-utils” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Upon install desktop-file-utils should get asked what defaults he
would like. As not all applications honor the desktop url open helper.
Using XFCE and chromium-browser as a default, http links in
thunderbird still get opened in firefox due to the default file.
