I've sent this bug report upstream, but it is highly likely that there
isn't enough information to debug this just yet.

Could you attach your Banshee database (~/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db)
to this bug, please? If you don't feel comfortable about posting your
music database on a public area, then please send it to
hyperair@xxxxxxxxxx and I'll forward it upstream.

The banshee.db should be obtained directly after you reproduce this bug.
The log from ~/.config/banshee-1/log may also come in useful, so please
upload that as well.

  Sometimes, when a number of songs is added from library to play queue
  and playback is started, some songs in play queue are played and then
  Banshee unreasonably jumps to library and starts playing some songs
  there (though it seems to play the songs selected to put them into
  play queue, beginning with the next song to just played).

  This can be related to bug #882740.
