Title:
  "shell output" does not work

Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  The "shell output" has been blank since upgrading to Oneric. I can no longer interact with shell using Gedit.
  Recent updated Gedit patch did not fix it.
