Title:
Searchfield interaction not possible
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
The searchfield, which opens automatically when typing something, does not allow to delete the typed letters with the backspace key or clicking into it to modify its content.
Pressing backspace causes to return in the previous folder what is a correct behavior when there is no serchfield open but this allows me to think that the searchfield is not interactable.
There is also a big delay when you press enter to open the selected folder.
In earlier versions the searchfield disappeared automatically when typing enter so that it was possible to type the new folder name instantly. Now i have to wait for about 4 seconds before it is possible to type the new searchterm.
