Title:
gnome-open dialog does not allow to manually enter path anymore
(ctrl+L)
Status in GTK+ GUI Toolkit:
New
Status in “gtk+3.0” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Since the update to oneiric, the keyboard shortcut ctrl+L in the gnome
open/save dialogs stopped working, which is useful for example if you
want to copy or paste the target directory. Sometimes dialogs have no
text-field at all, so that manually entering the complete target
filename is then impossible and requires a lot of mouse interaction.
Is there a reason for this to disappear? Is there a workaround to fix
this? If not this is apparently an undesired bug.
