[Bug 816700] Re: Mouse click disabled after clicking on the top panel

 

This bug also affects me.
Hardware : notebook Asus Eeepc 1005PE

The mouse clicks are disabled if I click just once in the upper bar of
the login screen.

They are *not* disabled if I click on the icons on the upper right
(battery, date, speaker, ...)

Restarting the lightdm service in a terminal (ctrl-alt-f1, then login,
then sudo service lightdm restart) makes the mouse clicks respond again.

Note also that no sound is produced on the lightdm login screen, as
opposed to when I start gdm
