Message #48538
[Bug 219738] Re: gnome-keyring export support not implemented
For what it's worth, if the password on a keyring is set to the empty
string---something you can do with seahorse---the keyring will be stored
on disk as a plain-text file. The INI-style format leaves a lot to be
desired, but at least it's a way to do export and import with gnome-
keyring. Other password tools could easily add support for this.

Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: seahorse
I get this error in the "passwords" tab when right-clicking on one of
my wireless network passwords, selecting "Export Public Key...", and
clicking "Save." The title of the error window in this case is
"Couldn't export key."
I also get this error when right-clicking one of my wireless network
passwords and selecting "Copy Public Key." The title of the error
window in this case is "Couldn't retrieve data from the key server."
I don't know why seahorse is trying to retrieve my wireless network
password from a key server.
