Sometimes everything works as it should but most of the times the same
thing happens to me. Open banshee and after a few seconds the ui
freezes, music continues to play though. I'll attach my log. Started
happening after upgrade to Oneiric.

  Whenever I open Banshee, it freezes in 2 or 3 seconds. The whole
  application is unusable for me.
