Title:
Empathy "Network error" with any account over corporate network
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: empathy
Empathy cannot connect ("Network error") to my gtalk or MSN account
over my work's network. I assume this is caused by corporate
firewalls and transparent proxies and other annoying things like that,
but Pidgin doesn't have any problems.
