Message #48833
[Bug 879673] Re: "Empty the rubbish" contextual menu item not working on desktop
I suppose that you use standard Ubuntu desktop (with GNOME), so I assign
it to "nautilus" package. If not, please change the package back to none
or to your file manager.
** Package changed: ubuntu => nautilus (Ubuntu)

Title:
"Empty the rubbish" contextual menu item not working on desktop
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When in desktop point at Rubbish Bin.
Right click shows contextual drop-down menu.
"Empty the rubbish" item appears.
When this item is clicked on, nothing happens.
The drop down list remains even when the pointer is moved.
To empty the bin I had to open it then select the option from the window.
