about specific issues about the search though, no need of an extra one
listing issues, closing the bug but feel free to open ones about
specific issues not reported yet

  nautilus search very limited

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The search functionality implemented into nautilus at top right since
  a few Ubuntu versions is very limited:

  * cannot search for containing text
  * all other parameters of gnome-search-tool are missing

  It shoul also be able to search in
  * PDF documents full text
  * in openoffice documents full text
