Title:
firefox window doesn't close after clicking on close button

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I am using Ubuntu 10.10 and Firefox 3.6.18+build2+nobinonly-
0ubuntu0.10.10.2. I expected a click on the "close" button on the
title bar to close the application. I tried repeatedly but it didn't
work. I was only able to close the application selecting "Quit" in the
"File" menu. I tried both within several seconds, so the problem could
be the sluggish reaction of the application. I tried several times but
couldn't reproduce the situation. The issue has reoccurred before.
