Bug description:
My webcam microphone is not working. if I plug the usb Webcam light
turn blue before it turn-off I open the sound setting select the input
(Philips webcam 1300) then the microphone works!!!! as soon as I close
the sound setting window, the light turn off and the microphone will
stop working!!!! If I reboot my system with a microphone plugged in
then microphone will not work either, but my video webcam does
work...My Pulse setting does show that my default input is the webcam,
but when I start recording or test skype microphone does not work, I
checked "alsamixer" too, all the capture devices are unmute. I checked
"Gnome alsa mixer" too it's set up correctly with my webcam capture
device..I tried "gstreamer-properties" everything is set up to pulse
audio. I checked "Pulse Audio Manager" and "PulseAudio Volume control"
everything is set-up correctly. When run "lsusb" my device does show
up as "Bus 001 Device 009: ID 0471:0331 Philips (or NXP) SPC 1300NC PC
Camera"...My pulse audio output works really well, I'm having problem
with the input..I have to mention that My webcam did work with ubuntu
10.04 without any problem and I have to mention that the tuner sound
card does show up in my input devices. Thank U guys..
