[Bug 815585] Re: Rhythmbox unable to retrieve CD title / track information from MusicBrainz

Why such decision has been made? Why not give people freedom to choose
software they want to use?

Need to force* people to switch Banshee?
Now, when we are forced to use Banshee, will we be forced to switch back to Rhythmbox with 12.04?

Title:
Rhythmbox unable to retrieve CD title / track information from
  MusicBrainz

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Inserting any audio CD, even ones previously recognised, results in a
message : "Could not find this album on Music Brainz". No album or
track title information is retrieved. The CD is shown in the left hand
panel under Devices as "Unknown Audio". This now happens for every CD
inserted. Not sure if this helps, but Banshee shows the same problem,
displaying a message stating "Could not fetch metadata for CD"
