[Bug 891739] [NEW] Unity System Settings Accessibility
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Hi
I hope this is the right place to submit a bug - never done it before.
I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 and gnome "classic". I have an eyesight problem
so have set everything to large.
As I go to applications/system tools/system settings a window opens with
Appearance, Mouse, Keybaord, Network etc. The problem is that as I
move my pointer over an icon - the pointer disappears when it's over the
icon. I find this makes it really awkward to use especially as
sometimes I run in high contrast and when the icon changes colour to
show the mouse is over it - it wipes out the background colour.
I have tried several themes but no change. I have also asked around on
my local Linux mailing list and nobody can find a fix.
Could we make it such that the pointer never disappears ever? - I feel
it makes it very difficult to use if (like me) you're very short
sighted.
Thanks
