Message #50751
[Bug 892755] Re: not any icons for directory and files since updates"
There is .xsession-errors.txt attached to the bug but I can upload a new .xsession-errors when I will be at home.
The bug doesn't happen all the time. It's a local login and not a guest session.
In the same session, the icons can disappear and then re-appear after a few minutes.
I installed ubuntu 11.10 (I re-formatted the system partion). The home partition wasn't re-formatted.
The old version is the same version: ubuntu 11.10 and before it, it was ubuntu 11.04. After installation, I updapted to all disponible updates and I install some programs. I don't know the faulty update. I'm not sure if the cause is an update.
