Title:
empathy does not connect to Google Talk after waking laptop up from
sleep
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: empathy
1) Release: 11.04
2) empathy 2.34.0-0ubuntu3
3) After my laptop wakes up, it automatically reconnects to the wireless network, and empathy reconnects to Facebook Chat and Google Talk services.
4) All of the above happens, except empathy never connects to Google Talk, but it keeps trying.
I tried restarting empathy by doing 'killall empathy', but that didn't
help. Empathy has always been very fluky, but I never had this
particular problem before.
