  software centre wont complete installing wine app

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

  I have tried to download and install wine microsoft windows
  compatibility layer (beta) and the software centre doesn't seem to be
  able to complete the install as i have been waiting for about 2 hours
  for the last bit of the bar to fill. Any help? I am using Ubuntu MM
  netbook edition
