  gedit crashed with SIGSEGV in g_settings_backend_path_changed()

Bug description:
  I ran 64bit Mac oneiric daily build. I copied xorg.log to home
  directory. Then I opened that with gedit using the command line. Then
  it crashed before displaying anything.
