Title:
Cannot create /home/user/["long file name"] File name too long
Status in “file-roller” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: file-roller
While trying to extract a file within a RAR compressed file, by using
the "Extract here" option from Nautilus (Nautilus 2.30.1) in Ubuntu
10.04, it did not extract the file to the folder, instead I get the
following error message from File Roller 2.30.1.1
Cannot create /home/fermin/Documentos/[very long file name]
File name too long
and the file is not extracted. Neither can I rename the file from
within File Roller spite the RARed file is not password encrypted.
This has happened to me several times with different files which I've
wanted to extract.
