Thank Giorgio, could you open a new bug using ubuntu-bug gnome-settings-
daemon and add your .xsession-errors after getting the issue to it?

Title:
  After update Nautilus icons are black/white, no decorations of
  breadcrumb etc.

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I just updated to Ubuntu 11.10 - and everything looked perfectly okay - except Nautilus!
  All icons are the same, they are black/white and really "boring". The breadcrumb view looks like back in Windows 3.1 times...
