[Bug 654053] [NEW] Network manager does not recognise ZTE mobile broadband dongle

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: udev

I used to use a vodafone mobile broadband dongle that worked OK. Recently changed to 3 (I am in the UK) dongle ZTE MF112. I followed the procedure of unmounting the drive that appears. And the modem seems to be recognised in the log files - but it does not appear on the network manager so I cannot connect. I have also 'lost' the vodafone option as well.
I have sucessfully used the dongle on a windows computer and on my Asus netbook which as Linux for netbooks.
Thanks you.
