[Bug 896616] Re: terminal asks for password but refuses to accept input as password

 

Thanks for the report. When there is no password request does it display any characters when just writing e.g. foo-bar?
Actually entering the password doesn't display a feedback such as stars or alike, but it still does recognize it.

  try to that terminal asks for password but the cursor never accepts
  any character except enter and then it says that the password was
