Raul Dias, this issue is confirmed using Xubuntu 11.10, LibreOffice
Writer. This seems an issue with the way konqueror creates odt files so
reassigning to kdebase for further investigation.

  When creating an empty libre office writes document in konqueror, the spellchecker and auto correct features does not work.
  It does work if the file is created inside libreoffice itself.
