[Bug 543291] Re: certificate problems accessing alioth.debian.org

Gah, Launchpad, please stop automatically confirming ancient bugs like
this.

This isn't an issue anymore, as the updated UI provides a way to add an
exception. The actual "unknown issuer" error though it not a Firefox bug
in itself. Please see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#A.22Secure_Connection_Failed.22_errors

** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Invalid

Title:
  certificate problems accessing alioth.debian.org

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

Accessing pages on http://alioth.debian.org/ I get a *popup dialog*
(not the usual firefox invalid certificate page) complaining about a
bad certificate. The popup only offers two choices: "View certificate"
and "Cancel" and thus it is impossible to correctly view the site.

The reason behind the bad certificate is probably trackpad bug 543278
but nonethless I think firefox should at least offer a way to accept
the certificate just as it does for any other site.
