Title:
Text widget losing focus annoyingly
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Steps to reproduce:
1- Open nautilus in any folder.
2- Start typing a name of a folder or file. A text widget will pop up showing me what is typed so far.
3- Try to erase the text using backspace.
or:
3'- Hit enter to open the folder.
4- Type some more. The text widget has the previously entered text.
Espected behaviour:
Backspace ereases the entered text.
The text widget is clear after loosing focus.
What actually happens:
If you try to erease using backspace Nautilus goes up one folder (default backspace action).
The issued text is not ereased so it doesn't match any file.
