[Bug 897180] Re: Cant' add contacts to Ubuntu One address book in Thunderbird Kubuntu 11.10

I am reporting this bug happening in Kubuntu, in Ubuntu it is no
happening, as contacts can be copied to and created into Ubuntu One
address folder. Although it is true that synchronization with server is
not working in Ubuntu.

Title:
Cant' add contacts to Ubuntu One address book in Thunderbird Kubuntu
  11.10

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Installed Ubuntu One contacts support for Thunderbird in Kubuntu 11.10
  as specified in https://one.ubuntu.com/help/tutorial/install-and-
  setup-contacts-sync/.

When I try to copy or move one or more contacts by drag-and-drop from
some address book (personal one, for instance) to Ubuntu One address
book the 'drop' is rejected and the contacts are not copied.

Adding a new contact directly to Ubuntu One address book (right click,
new contact) creates a new contact but adds it to the personal address
book instead of U1 address book.
