  software-center crashed with SIGSEGV

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I had installed a package manually - successfully, as far as I can
  tell.

I closed Software Centre normally, and shortly afterwards got the
Apport dialogue about reporting a bug.

The installation, though it says it's Ubuntu 11.10, is a Precise
  testing install.
