  menu bar does not show the menu options or application name

Status in “indicator-appmenu” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.10
  after signed in the system the menu bar should show "Desktop", but it does not show nothing. Sometimes it happens with some applications like rhythmbox, firefox and more and then, if you put the mouse over the menu bar it shows just "file,edit,view..." but the application name is missing
