Message #53428
[Bug 373851] Re: for FOLDER, "open with "gnome-terminal" DOES NOT do a "cd" to the FOLDER
Ubuntu 10.04LTS, when right-clicking on a folder, the context menu has
the option "Open with gnome-terminal". Selecting this option opens a
terminal to the login. This IS a valid bug because the behaviour is not
as the user interface indicates. This bug may not be part of gnome-
terminal but it is a gnome bug. Instead of merely calling it invalid,
this bug should be assigned to whatever module is responsible for the
erroneous behaviour.

Title:
for FOLDER, "open with "gnome-terminal" DOES NOT do a "cd" to the
FOLDER
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
NOT A BUG
JUST A REQUEST FOR BETTER FUNCTIONALITY
"open with gnome-terminal" doesn't work
When in UBUNTU:FILE BROWSER ("places") , and seeing a list of FOLDERS and files,
I right-click a FOLDER and see: OPEN WITH { DOLPHIN, KONQUEROR, GNOME-TERMINAL, etc}
If I then click GNOME-TERMINAL, I get a terminal
*BUT* with current-dir = ~
*WHEREAS* I desire that (in effect) a command "cd folder-path" would have been done.
BY CONTRAST, if I open in KONQUEROR or DOLPHIN, these programs *DO*
open "IN" the designated folder.
