  my desktop icons disappeared

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After running a Java application, all my icons on my desktop disappeared, or respond by clicking on it with the right button, no menu of options appears.
  When creating a new user account, this problem is solved.
  When run from terminal "sudo nautilus" returns to the desktop but do not appear to respond normally icons and the desktop to close the terminal does not respond.
