Is it possible to update gtk+2.0 to 2.24.8 for oneiric (of course, firstly upload it to precise and test for possible regressions)? Overview of changes since the current packaged version (both releases are bugfix-only):

jtaylor is right saying that it's too difficult to backport all the done
changes to 2.24.6 version.
