  cannot swith user, lightdm seems to freeze

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  having 2 user accounts

  -login with user1
  - go to the user panel and click on the second user, the greeter screen appears
  - enter the user2 password.

  nothing happens and lightdm is unusable. i still can return to user1
  session using ctrl-alt-f7
