  vinagre does not work for local network machine

Status in “vinagre” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  i have a local network, i used to enter VNC remote desktop for a
  desktop machine using "vinagre machinename.local" in maverick and
  since i installed oneiric it does not work at all. it gives this error
