  Occasionally cannot select files on desktop

Bug description:
  Sometimes, when I click on files on the desktop, they cannot be selected.
  It is possible to select the file only when clicking in an area above some (unpredictable) part of the file icon.

  This is hard to describe so I taped a video of it (two files attached)
  which I hope explains the problem well.

  Since taping the video I have not been able to reproduce the problem,
  even with the same exact two files at the same exact position.

  Ubuntu 11.04 standard install (from scratch using ~/.* from 10.10
  install), Desktop with default settings ("Keep aligned" selected).
