Title:
Cannot refresh sources under "All Sources"

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Hi - I have added a PPA in the Other Software tab in Software Sources
  for SuperCollider (http://ppa.launchpad.net/supercollider/ppa/ubuntu).
But when I go to the Software Center, the new source doesn't appear in
the All Software menu. A search for SuperCollider does not find the
  correct packages.

There seems to be no way to force a refresh of the Software Center's
All Software menu so I that can see the software I want to install. I
tried rebooting, I ran sudo apt-get update, and I tried clicking Check
in Update Manager, but these had no effect.

I have Ubuntu 11.10, Ubuntu Software Center 5.0.2ubuntu0.1.
SuperCollider PPA info can be found at
  https://launchpad.net/~supercollider/+archive/ppa

If this is not a bug, how can I get the Software Center's All Software
to display the PPA I added in the Other Software tab in Software
  Sources?

  Thanks!
