[Bug 638659] Re: Enable Auto-Scroll and Smooth Scrolling by Default in Firefox
I think AutoScrolling should be enabled by default, but not
SmoothScrolling (it isn't enabled by default neither in Windows).

Title:
Enable Auto-Scroll and Smooth Scrolling by Default in Firefox
Status in Firefox Extensions in Ubuntu:

Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
Confirmed
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
By default, Firefox does not have Auto-Scrolling and Smooth Scrolling
by default. This makes it seem like the middle click is 'broken'.
There are numerous threads on the forum about this:

Clearly, this is a big problem, and the first thing I have to fix
after any install I do.
The fix is very simple: Enable these two options! Tada! Feels like
it's supposed to. It seems like a lot of linux-heads don't notice this
one because it's been broken for so long, but for anybody coming from
the big W, this is totally crucial.
