[Bug 899190] Re: Unable to open spreadsheet using --calc
Colin Law, the fact it went from Excel to OOo then to LO introduces a
litany of possible root cause vectors (ex. original problem was Excel
import was not fully implemented regarding the original content, OOo
content save, LO imported the OOo document and borked it, some
combination of the prior, document corruption, etc.). Looking at the
file contents in a text editor, fact you can open it in one particular
way, and the terminal error output does not reveal the root cause of the
problem, only that the root problem may still exist or is fixed already
in newest LO. Without a reproduction scenario I am unable to mark this
Triaged or move this issue forward.

3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Calc via the Terminal:

&& libreoffice --calc test4.ods
or double clicking the file is the file opens successfully.
4) What happens instead is the document is blank and the Terminal
shows:
libreoffice --calc test4.ods

Original Reporter Comments: Some edits to the document will fix the
problem, others do not.
WORKAROUND: Open it via the Terminal command:
libreoffice test4.ods
WORKAROUND: Copy the entire sheet from test4.ods into a new, blank
Calc document, save the document and then one may open via the
expected Terminal commands or by double clicking.
