Title:
File rename (e.g. using F2) accepts 2 characters only
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
Nautilus 2.28.1
Press F2 to rename a file or folder, nautilus displays file or
foldername as editable, highlight part of name to be changed, start
entering replacement text, after 2 characters input nautilus will
change to a different file loosing changes already made.
Hence, editing names of file or folders is not possible in the quoted
version of nautilus in either list or symbol view. I find that a bit
restrictive for an ubuntu desktop user.
