Message #54869
[Bug 886738] Re: Certain keys on keyboard no longer working
Unsetting the keyboard settings did nothing. The down arrow and end
keys operate exactly the same way as before. Here is how they are set
now:
gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard layouts
@as []
gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard model
''
gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard options
@as []
Here's how they were set before:
gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard layouts
['us', 'us\tdvorak', 'jp', 'ru\tphonetic']
gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard model
'microsoftelite'
gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard options
['grp\tgrp:alts_toggle', 'Compose key\tcompose:lwin', 'terminate\tterminate:ctrl_alt_bksp', 'altwin\taltwin:alt_super_win', 'Compose key\tcompose:menu']

Certain keys on keyboard no longer working

Starting with Ubuntu version 11.10, my down arrow key and my End key
no longer work. I am using a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard
