Title:
evince freezes for 30 seconds when attempting to File/open a file that
is already open
Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evince
Evince freezes for 30 seconds when attempting to File/open a file that
is already open.
To reproduce:
1. Open evince
2. Go to File/Open and load a pdf file. Opens instantly. Leave it open.
3. Go again to File/Open and try to open the same pdf file. Evince freezes for a long time (30 seconds or so); eventually it reacts again, simply closing the File/Open dialog.
What I expect: that it doesn't freeze.
