Thank you for your bug report, is that still an issue? That seems to
work correctly on Oneiric

Title:
indicator-weather deleted from "Startup Applications" on next login
Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-session
Several times now I've added the "Weather Indicator" to "Startup
Applications". As long as I'm in my current session, it's listed
there. However, when I next log in, the indicator isn't running.
Checking "Startup Applications" shows it isn't listed. The only other
app I've added manually, gkrellm, is behaving as expected.
I've found no obvious entires in the system logs to indicate why the
indicator is failing to launch at login.

(gnome-session-properties:20086): Gtk-WARNING **: You must override the default 'drag_drop' handler on GtkTreeView when using models that don't support the GtkTreeDragDest interface and enabling drag-and-drop. The simplest way to do this is to connect to 'drag_drop' and call g_signal_stop_emission_by_name() in your signal handler to prevent the default handler from running. Look at the source code for the default handler in gtktreeview.c to get an idea what your handler should do. (gtktreeview.c is in the GTK source code.) If you're using GTK from a language other than C, there may be a more natural way to override default handlers, e.g. via derivation.
