For the record, I have Epiphany installed and apport links open in
Firefox, my default web browser.

Title:
  Epiphany is used by default no matter what the default browser is

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  If you install Epiphany even if it is not set to be the default
  browser it will be opened in preference of the default browser when
  using ubuntu-bug, links from email, links from irc etc.

  This only happens when you install epiphany otherwise what ever is
  listed as default is used.
