It would appear many have had the same bug problem accessing mail box.
The message also includes "data disk image is malformed"

Evolution has not been fully operational since I installed it. I have
trouble nominating an addressee when emailing. This problem was
previously reported and nothing eventuated to fix it. I mention this as
it may have the same root
