[Bug 902085] Re: Libreoffice Calc conditional formatting error

Wolf Rogner, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your
description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful
to read "How to report bugs effectively"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific, steps click-by-click you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
4. An example document that when you perform the above mentioned specific steps click-by-click, demonstrates this problem.
Thanks!

Title:
  Libreoffice Calc conditional formatting error

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Conditional formatting in LibreOffice does not work correctly.

This error was corrected in OpenOffice and reappeared in LibreOffice.

  Test:

Enter a cell value of 1 and a value of 2 in the next value
Mark 3 cells (on including no value)
Conditional format 1 to background green, 2 to background red and empty to background gray.

Use equal to, use less than or greater than, it does not work.

What works is that the cell gets coloured green if you say: not equal
  to: 1

However, combining negatives does not work either.
