Message #56245
[Bug 902850] Re: can't sign into msn with live id *@gmail.com
I'm having the same problem signing into Google Talk with my gmail id.
It looks like the "Online Accounts" settings for that email
addriess/Google are overriding empathy, but that something's messed up
in the Empathy integration.

Title:
can't sign into msn with live id *@gmail.com
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
i am having trouble signing into msn using my live id which is also my
gmail address. maybe that is the problem somehow as i can log in to
msn using an older live id, although that one is @mail.com so i'm not
really sure if that is the problem or not.
when i try to sign in it just sits at signing in, watching from the
accounts dialog, but if i enter an incorrect password i get an
authentication failure as i should. any ideas?
